Having a Personal Vision

By Dave Robbs

There is a proverb that says, “Without a vision the people perish”.

This is so true in life as well as business. What is the vision of your life, your life’s goals? How will you achieve them?

Before you ever set goals for your business, you should set goals for your life. I have read several books that say the best way to define your life is to write your own eulogy. In other words, what would you like to have said about you at your funeral? Many of us leave this world without accomplishing what is really in our hearts.

The second step is to write your vision/goal down to remind yourself. On any given day, life is difficult, urgent, demanding and in the midst of all that noise we lose track of what’s important. Your written vision is a reminder to yourself.

Remember, the key to becoming a sharpshooter is having a target. Be a life sharpshooter.

Have a great week and hit those goals.
